Such a fabulous event tonight in Mt. Holly NC hosted by @clearysbookstore where I was in convo with the lovely and talented @joywcal. It was a packed house (well, church) despite a tornado blowing through earlier in the afternoon. We had a white knuckle drive through sudden wicked storms after a gorgeous afternoon in Southern Pines and thought we might not see the peoples. But the peoples, they braved the weather, and they came. And I’m so super grateful. I’m certainly weary from an epic day visiting four bookstores in one day. After a good night’s sleep, I’ll see you tomorrow Greenville, SC and @mjudsonbooks!

Wow! What an epic Cinco de Mayo we had for ourselves in Neptune Beach, FL yesterday. Huge thanks to @bookmarkbythesea for hosting me and our whole @friendsandfiction family including @pattichenry @kristywharvey @kristinharmel @megwalker1225 @rsblockmtm & @neonmoonstudios to launch my 32nd novel #summersatthesaint in grand F&F style. The room was packed to the rafters with book people and we had so many laughs over lots of great book talk. Thanks to all who came out! We left lots of signed copies of our books at the bookstore so if you missed the festivities be sure to swing over and see Rona and her team for all your Mother’s Day prezzies and beach reading needs! Oh what a fabulous day yesterday at the Atlanta book launch extravaganza for #summersatthesaint with @foxtale_book_shoppe at beautiful @huffharrington in Buckhead. I was so happy my pub team came down from NY including @jenendyblue, @white_lightning1981 (and fam!), @jezim629 from @stmartinspress, @agentstuartk & my tour road warrior @megwalker1225. Also in the house were @friendsandfiction podcast host @rsblockmtm and @friendsandfictionbookclub host @lisagetslit and many of our amazing F&F community members. Fellow authors @christopher_swann @wandamowrites @writercolleenoakley @emilycarpenter joined the fun, too. And let’s not forget my incredible family @tomtrocheck_ @trocheck @ghgjohnson03 @smurrrrrr and the @katieabel mom squad. We had lots of laughs, sold lots of books, and I’m so grateful as I really felt the love. To open a big tour with an event like this really puts the wind in my sails.
